Day's 1 & 2 - Here we go! My first morning on the Isagenix system is underway with a one ounce shot of Isagenix Essentials before heading out for a four-mile morning walk. When I returned I made myself a tasty chocolate shake, and placed a call to the Isagenix service center. The woman on the phone was incredibly helpful and committed to making the order correct. She told me which of the pills in the vitamin pack I received were specifically for women and which were included for both genders. Until my replacement package arrives I can just remove a couple of the pills and take the rest. Cindy and I recorded all of our measurements so that we have a clear understanding of where we're starting. I can't wait to see those numbers get smaller and smaller. As the day progressed I was doing my best to consume the 140 ounces of water that are recommended. That could be a real challenge. That's A Lot Of Water!
By the time my second day on the system ended I felt like I had a slightly better idea of what I was doing. Before long it will probably become routine, but for now I have to think about each of the recommended steps. Today was another two shake day - one chocolate and one vanilla supplemented with Isagenix Fruits. During the day I used 1-2 of the snacks that came with our package of products. They had the ability to satisfy my need to chew something and at the same time stave off a few minor hunger pangs. I was surprised that something so small seemed to work as well as it did. Along the way I enjoyed a few pieces of fresh fruit as well. Today I learned that while staying hydrated is very important - and I did drink 120+ ounces of water - it's most important for removing body toxins during cleansing days. Having that knowledge made me comfortable stopping my water intake around 8 p.m. and it made for a much more comfortable nights sleep. Thank goodness!
My weight on Day 2, September 6, 2014 = 280 lbs.
(No weight take during the first two days. We were away from home.)
